Super Sleepy

Week 32 - roughly 8 weeks to go. As of Friday, we're officially into our 8th month of pregnancy. Holy moly is time going twice as fast the last few weeks, and my sleepiness has also increased. It seems like I get home from work, eat dinner and I could go right to bed! I've heard "sleep now, while you can!" and I'm trying to take full advantage of that any chance I get.

Our second week of birthing class went really well. We went over a few relaxation techniques, and I even got a little back rub out of the deal. We discussed a little more in depth what to expect during labor, and how to make the process as smooth as possible. This week is already the halfway point, and we're touring the birthing center again. Each week is extremely helpful, and I'm very glad we're doing this.

This last weekend was pretty low key, which was nice. I got to sleep in both Saturday and Sunday, which is always a plus! Saturday I had a lovely lunch with my bestie Amanda. It's nice to sit at a table for hours with her and catch up on everything! She also gave Baby H another gift for her room, she is already spoiling her rotten. For those of you who don't know, I have a crazy obsession with pigs. I think I might have mentioned this in past posts as well. Baby H received her first Piggy Bank from Amanda, and she was also the first to add to the "shoe fund."

Saturday night we met up with our friends Paul & Kody for dinner and bowling. After two games at Brunswick Zone... I'm still a terrible bowler. Nothing has changed! We had a good time with those two, as always!

Baby H's Piggy Bank from Amanda!

More decorations in the nursery!

We had another appointment last night. Everything is measuring correctly, and we seem to be right on track. We're still going every 2 weeks, so our next appointment is Halloween night. We made sure to make it early enough that we don't miss any trick-or-treaters. Mitch also treated me to a mini date night after our appointment. I was actually decisive in my restaurant choice for once, and we headed to Olive Garden. Something about unlimited breadsticks and salad sounded amazing. It was such a nice evening hanging with the hubby! The countdown is still going strong - 52 days until our due date!! So excited!

Until next time...
